Betty Kathleen Buchanan-Cook (b. 2002) is a East-London based fiber artist who works with colour and original text throughout her work. Each piece is a labor of love and she can spend from days to months in her making process. Her work spans the themes of identity, relationships and communication, she draws from her diaries and personal experinces to create her pieces. She uses a range of knitting techniques in her practice. All work is made by hand on flat or circular needles. Her home doubles as her knitting studio.
Betty graduated from Goldsmiths University of London in 2024 From BA Fine Art and Art History.
